Looking for Creative Things to Do in Cornwall? Join Me for a Postcard-Making Workshop
Some places just call for us to slow down. Cornwall has always been one of those places for me: the changing colours of the sea, the textures in the sand, the wildflowers growing along the cliffs, the sound of the waves — it all invites us to pay attention. Yet so often, we rush past it.
That's why I've created this new creative experience in Perranporth. For two hours, we'll step away from the pace of everyday life and spend a slow, mindful morning together. Beginning with a gentle walk along the beach, I'll guide you through simple prompts to help you notice the colours, textures, sounds and small details that make this stretch of coastline so special.
You don't need to be an artist. In fact, it's even better if you simply arrive with an open mind. ✨
Slow down, and create something worth cherishing
We'll collect words, marks and inspiration before returning to my nearby studio at The Nook, where you'll transform those observations into your own mixed-media postcard using charcoal, ink, collage, texture and writing.
There's no pressure to create something perfect. This workshop is about enjoying the process, reconnecting with your creativity and capturing a memory of Cornwall that's completely your own.
Everything is provided, including all creative materials, and workshops are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of eight people to cultivate a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Whether you're visiting Cornwall for the first time, searching for unique things to do in Perranporth, planning a creative date, travelling solo or simply looking for a different way to experience the coast, I'd love to guide you along the coastline and welcome you into my studio.
