The story behind the piece…
Colours of Cornwall is a love letter to the place that completely changed my life.
After moving to Cornwall, I found myself filling journals with observations of the coastline, the changing light and the places that quietly became home. This painting brings many of those moments together into one piece, layering colours inspired by the beaches, cliffs and sea that I’ve explored over the years.
Hidden within the artwork is a poem written as a love letter to Cornwall itself, woven into the paint as a reminder that every landscape carries a story if we choose to pay attention.
Energetic, expressive and full of movement, Colours of Cornwall celebrates the joy of finding a place that feels like home.
Like all of my original artwork, this piece began as words in a journal before becoming paint on a canvas.
It is currently hanging in my Cornwall studio and is waiting to find the right home. 🤍
Purchasing my art: how it works
If this piece feels like it belongs in your home, I’d love to hear from you.
Complete the enquiry form below, sharing what drew you to the artwork and what you feel it’s worth. I personally read every enquiry, not simply based on the offer, but on the connection you have with the piece.
If it feels like the right fit, I’ll be in touch to arrange payment, discuss framing if you’d like it, and organise collection or carefully packaged delivery.
I hope every painting finds the home it was always meant for.
Finding the right home
Rather than displaying a fixed price, I’d love each of my original paintings to find the person they truly resonate with.
To help you understand the work, I’ve shared the materials used, the time invested and the story behind the piece. Whilst many artists use the dimensions of a painting as one factor when calculating value, I believe the connection someone feels to a piece is just as important.
If Aerial Harmony feels like it belongs in your home, I’d love to hear what drew you to it, along with what you feel it’s worth.
If this piece has found you at the right time, I’d love to hear its story from your perspective too.
